FIRE AT POLLOK

A seven or eight-roomed house at Pollok was totally destroyed by lire at about 11 o'clock on Tuesday morning. Only a small harmonium and a few odds and ends were saved. The cause of the fire is unknown. The house was owned and occupied by Mr. J. Carruthers and family and was insured in the South British Office for £650.
