TOWN BOARD ELECTION Messrs. A. Cooper and E. Bradley have been nominated to fill the vacancy on the Town Board caused by the retirement of Commissioner J. F. Gospodnetich. The by-election will be held on October 21, and a good deal of interest is being- evinced in the result. DOMAIN BOARD The Domain Board has granted permission to the King Country Timber Workers' Sports Association to hold its annual meeting as usual on the Manunui Domain. Mr. T. f’. Jones waited on the board on behalf of the cricket club and asked for the use of the pitch on the recreation ground this season, and that it be put in order. The request was granted. WANGANUI RIVER BRIDGE The town solicitors, Messrs.
