EX-LADY MAYORESS OF MELBOURNE ILL ON AORANGI

GO serious was the condition of Lady Brunton, a former Lady Mayoress of Melbourne, on her arrival in Auckland to-day by the Aorangi, that she was removed to hospital as soon as the liner berthed. Sir William and Lady Brunton are returning from a pleasure trip to Europe and America. It is anticipated that Sir William will spend several weeks in Auckland until his wife is considered well enough to resume her voyage to Melbourne.
