ST. DAVID’S CHURCH

Steadily increasing church membership and healthy finances are the substance of the annual report of St. David’s Presbyterian Church, to be presented at the annual meeting of the congregation this evening. The church roll now contains 568 names, while the Virginia Avenue Sunday School and evening services under Sister Constance and Mr. E. C. Farr are growing in attendance and interest. The main Sunday School has a roll of 207 scholars, and a staff of 37, and the branch school, 120 scholars and a staff of 10. Collections amounted to £1,922 6s 5d and special donations to £454 16s 7d. Contributions to missionary objects were £661 8s 7d. During the year £5.497 15s 7d was received for the building fund, making a total of £21,738 Is lOd since its inception, and there is a balance of £11,037 2s 7d.
