CAR OVER BANK
SERVIA STREET AGAIN DRIVER EXCAPES INJURY Servia Street, Newton, was the scene of another accident last night, a sevenseater touring car running over the bank. No one was injured. The driver of the car, it is understood, proceded down Servia Street, but saw that he could not get through to the next street. Swinging the wheel round, he did not notice a four-foot bank on the right-hand side of the street. The car plunged over, and crashed through the fence. The verandah of a house w~s slightly damaged. The radiator and a portion of a back mudguard of the car were damaged. Yesterday a light delivery van went over the same bank. A 'similar accident occurred there about four months ago, two men having a remarkable escape from death.
