THE WINTER SHOW
EDUCATION AND AMUSEMENT A PRODUCTIVE PROVINCE The productiveness of the Auckland Province, through both its primary and its secondary industries, will be shown in the Winter Exhibition, to be held ! in the Central Wharf sheds from July 21 to July 30. The object of the show is to pro- j vide education and amusement under one roof. Entries in all classes have been most satisfactory. There will be well-arranged provincial courts, and competitive classes for field roots, vegetables, fruit, home industries, needlework and cookery, art and photography, and school work. The exhibition will be particularly strong in side shows, and the most modern of the devices for giving an amusement “thrill” to young and old.
The Prime Minister will endeavour to attend to open the show, but if he is detained the Hon. A. D. McLeod will give the opening speech. DRAW FOR POSITIONS
