SERVICE CAR SMASH Press Association WELLINGTON. Tuesday. Isabella Henderson, widow of William Kirk Henderson, killed in a motor collision last November, was awarded £I,OOO damages by a jury sitting before the Chief Justice. Sir Charles Skerrett. The accident happened on November 17, 1926, when a Masterton service car and a motor-car belonging *o Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., collided. The service car was overturned and Henderson, a passenger, received injuries from which he died two months Later. The widow claimed damages from Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and from Thomas Flannery, wcol-buyer, the driver of the other car and a servant of the company.
