TAKAPUNA ORPHANS
THE ANNUAL MEETING There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Takapuna Orphans’ Club, held last night, the president, Air. E. C. Cutten, S.M., presiding. Sympathy with the relatives of the late Sir Henry Brett, and Messrs. D. Rugg and J. Power, was expressed in motions. Air. L. Lewis, vice-president, was elected a life member in recognition of his past services. It was decided to open the 1927 season on Alay 5. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Air. E.
