Unchanged, except inferior. Prices are 3d higher. RECORD PIG SALE BIG PRICES PAID SOWS FORTY-FIVE GUINEAS (From Our Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, To-day. * Some of the highest prices ever obtained in the province for pedigree pigs were paid at the annual pedigree pig sale -held at Mr. F. Discombe's Lucernedale Stud Farm, Hautapu, yesterday. The sale was held before an attendance of over 300 breeders and farmers from all parts of the province and as far afield as Taranaki and Hawkes Bay. Over 200 animals representative of the five breeds were offered and the demand was such that practically all were sold. Of imported blood three large White sows averaged 45gn&, while a boar sold at 35gns.; a threemonths boar brought lSgns. Berkshires were next best sellers, a sow realising 24gns. and two other* 22$jgns. Young boars and sows averaged 12gns. Large Black, Tamworth* and Middle Whites also sold well.
