'TENTATIVE PROPOSALS The -j.>roposed new University Union was discussed at a meeting of the Court Ojf. Convocation of the Auckland UniversiiV College last night. After several members of the Students’ Asstv ciatjion and several graduates had spoken, the following resolution was cavc.ried: “That this meeting of the convocation expresses its approval of the to form a university union* and recommends the executive to ct>-operate in any steps which may be ta\V en in that direction.” An amendment to add the words: “Providing the corxtrol of the students’ block remains as it is at present,” was carried.
