NEGLECTING HIS FAMILY
“If I considered my own inclinations I would decide not to stand for the election,” said Mr. J. W. Hayden, chairman of the Waitemata Power Board, 'esterday, when members had asked him to be a candidate. “My duty to my family has been neglected on the public account, but I suppose I have to stand.” “All members are anxious to see you as a candidate and returned at the Head of the poll,” said Mr. S. E. Kennings and other members spoke of the services of the chairman.
