MAORI GRIEVANCES

CONFISCATED LAND Press Association. OPOTIKI, Tuesday. The Royal Commission appointed to inquire into grievances of Maoris arising from confiscation of land following the Maori War will commence its Opotiki sitting to-morrow. Proceedings will probably last until the end of the week. The next sitting will be held at Whakatane. Members of the commission arrived at Opotiki to-day.
