Dole Causes Restiveness In Government Ranks.

A special meeting of the State Cabinet, lasting eight hours, reconsidered the relief work problem, in which there is still considerable' unrest in the party ranks as a result of *the decision to place- many thousands of single men back on the dole. Cabinet to-night decided to modify its policy and appointed a committee of the Cabinet to examine various suggestions for the absorption of all unemployed on full-time works which are about to begun and furnish a report on the subject in a week’s time.
It was announced to-night that as soon as Parliament meets Mr. J. C. Ross, who represents Kogarah, a metropolitan constituency, in the Government interests, intends to move a vote of cepsure on (he Government, which he assorts has lost the confidence of the peonle as a result nf its trer'tment of the unomnlovod.
