Restoration of the Franco-Polish alliance is believed to be the underlying objective of the brief visit to Paris of General Rydzsmigly, Inspector-General of the Polish Army, who interviewed M. Leon Blum, Prime Minister, and M. Delbos.

Eighty per cent, of the loan can be spent on armament contracts with France and the remainder devoted to the construction of armament factories. It is understood France is listening sympathetically, for refusal of the request would involve the risk of throwing Poland into the arms of Germany.
