Inglewood Rainfall Compared Witli Stratford. HIGHER THAN AVERAGE.
Considerably wetter weather "was experienced at Inglewood last month than at Stratford. Figures supplied by Mr N. Trimble, observer at Inglewood, show that a total of 12.22 inches foil during the twenty-five wet days in the month. At Stratford rain fell on 24 days* during the month but the total was' only 8.77 inches, a decrease of 2.1 inches on the figures last year. The Inglewood figures on the other hand represent an increase of 1.4 inches over the fall for the month last year and are 2.33 inches greater than the 1 average figure for the month, 8.89 inches.
The fall of rain at Inglewood, however, was not heavier than that at Stratford on every day' of the month. ’On tho 15th, for example, 1.02 inches fell at Stratford and only .74 inches fell at Inglewood. The wettest day for both towns was Saturday, when 2 inches w-as recorded at Inglewood and 1.04 inches at Stratford.
