New Zealander Committed For Trial In Sydney. BANKRUPTCY SEQUEL. ' uJ/lAiVi i /•j'Vi-~.-'-.v'. Press Association— Canyrisht. Sydney, Aug. 30. Mr. Justice Lukin in the Bankruptcy Court committed Hector George Thirkell for trial on three charges under the Bankruptcy Act —omission to keep books of account, material omissions from his statement of affairs and obtaining money by fraud. The alleged offences arise out of Thirkell's former connection with the Manhattan Cabaret at Sydney and his ownership of land at Pahiatua and Hastings, New Zealand, concerning which he is alleged to have made false representations.
