Conviction For Driving To Public Danger. STRATFORD COURT CASES. An admission that he was travelling at f .cm 43 to 45 m.p.h. was 'M&Lti by Aithur Harold Morton, when he was sloppi d by Inspector A. E. Ansell in the Inglewood borough recently. This morning Morton appeared before Mr W. H. Woodward, S.M., in the Stratford Magistrate's Court, charged w.th driving at a speed •which may have- been dangerous. He pleaded not guilty. Inspector Ansell : aid he chased Morton and his speed had varied Horn 40 to 48 miles an near. During the chase defendant had passed over lour intersections. To the Magistrate witness said tiiera was sti.l one intersection to cress. Morton was fined £2, costs 12s. On a charge of overloading a lorry Henry Brown and Co, New Plymouth, wore corniced and ordered to pay coats, 10s.
