V.R.C. CUP MEETING / Press Associaiiou. —Oonwlsht. Melbourne, November 11. The weather was line and there was an excellent attendance, including the Duke of Gloucester, for the fourth day of the V.R.C. Cup meeting. The results are: WINDSOR HURDLES Of two miles and a quarter.
POLYGONUM 9.11 (L. Hynes) .. 1 RUMBURN 10.0 (R. Eddy) .... 2 DUNKELD 10.9 (W. Sanditord) . 3 Eight started. Two and a half lengths; one and a quarter lengths. Our Comet was fourth. Time 4.164. DUKE OF GLOUCESTER CUP One mile and three quarters. PETER PAN 9.7 (D. Munro) .... 1 BROADARROW 8.9 (H. Skidmore) 2 HYPERION 7.5 (A. Knox) .... 3 Seven started. Wallopian and Curator made the pace. Peter Pan was last early but finished well and won by half a length, with two lengths between second and third. Then came Nightly, Wallopian, Flail and Curator. Time 3.43. BATMAN STAKES One mile.
SYLVANDALE 8.12 (J. ratt) .... 1 BARAK 8.2 (Bailey) 2 ROBERT 5.7 (H. Moran) 3 Seven started. A length and a quarter, three quarters of a length. Havana was fourth. Time 1.44. FLEMINGTON STAKES Five furlongs. AUREUS 7.13 (A. Knox) 1 DBBHAM 7.13 (K. Yoitre) .... 2 YOUNG IDEA 7.13 (J. Danlies) .. 3 Eleven started. Three quarters of a length; half a length. Carnarvon was fourth. Time 1.33. LINLITHGOW STAKES One mile.
