A, fatality occurred in the hills behind Hampden yesterday, when Duncan Jackson, a single man between 20 and 25 years of age, a resident of the district, met his death. He was hunting pigs and presumably had been using his rifle as a walking stick when a cartridge exploded, the bullet, entering Jackson's cheek and emrging through the back of the head.
