Appeal Fund Committee QRGAWSWG COUNTRY DISTRICTS The- ambulance appeal fund committee met; last evening when, there were present: Tlie Mayor, Mr. J. W.. McMillan (in the chair); and Messrs. Win. Hoskin, C. Till J. C. Robins. D. J. Malone, S. D. Hayton, B. Vinsen and the secretary (Mr. W. D. Young). The secretary reported that organ_ isation of the country districts was proceeding .satisfactorily. "The secretary and I made a can. vass of part of West Broadway," said the Mayor, "and the result was most satisfactory. Practically everyone was willing to give and expressed the opinion that they considered airnm. bulance necessary. The appeal has been received Very well.'' Further arrangements for the or. ganisation of the country districts wore discussed and completed. Severn! social functions will be conducted in aid of the fund.
