The final of. the fortnightly series of the Stratford Fire Brigade Euchre tournaments was held last week and a large attendence showed the tecness with which the supporters competed In the play-off for the aggregate prizes. There were between GO and 70 players present. The results of the evening's nlav were as follows;: Ladies first Mrs D. Butchart, second prize Miss Franks and the consolation prize, Miss Elgar. Mr T. Waite won thei gents first prize and Mr C. Bradshaw won the second, while Mr W- Nelson was; awarded the consolation prize. Aggregate Prizes The final of the competition for thp aggregate prizes, awarded on results; of play at the series, was won by Miss B. Wtoeeler in the ladies division, with a score of 67 points and Mrs W. Brocklebank gained second prize with a score of 63J points. Mrs W. Brocklebank won. the Hard Luck prize and Mrs R. G. Gray was awarded the second prize. Mrs J. Robson, gained highest points* in the aggregate of half-games, her score being 17. In the men’s division Mr J. Jones gained first prize with an aggregate of 71 points and; Mr R. Hignett was second with a score of 69J points. Mr R. jtbarrock and R. Collins tied for the Hard Luck » prize, each gaining G 7 point and in the play-off .Mr Sherrock emerged the winner. Mr H. Reader secured highest pointfi in the aggregate of half-games with it score of 19.

At the conclusion of the games, play era were served, supper.

Throughout the series of play the events have been favoured with much support and .as a result of the efficient manner in which the tourneys have beiGn run the, functions wore extremely popular.
