On Tuesday last the district court | committee held the first of two e u-j cure parties over 70 people being present, and a' jolly evening was spent, despite the inconvenience of having to; hold the function in the school | Messrs. Wellington, Borenart, Mac-, Kay H. G'bbs and Brunsden, our: court executive, were responsible for, the evening being the success it was,, while the ladies provided a dainty , supper and a few dances to set toes j tingling again, brought proceedings to a close at nidnight.
