WILDING SHIELD Press Association-Copyright Wellington, Jan, 16. —The Wilding and Nunneley Casket competitions lor interprovincial tennis were played at Wellington today in easily the hottest day this season. There was a complete absence of wind. In the shield contest for men Wellington are leading Canterbury by five rubbers to one and in the casket competition for ‘ladies Canterbury and Wellington are equal with three rubbers.
