FLYING ABILITY TESTED
BUSY DAY AT WANGANUI SQUADRON-LEADER ISITT SATISFIED Press Association. —Copyright WANGANUI, Today. Squadron. Leader isitt arrived in WJanganui yesterday morning in order to test pupils at tire Wanganui airport for flying certificates. All candidates ex. amined passed. They were pupils of Fiving-Ollicer fan Keith. SquadronLeader Ipitt accompanied Mr. E. Meredith from New Plymouth in the /veil. Throughout the day there was considerable activity at the airport. Mr. J. Strachan had his A license to carry passengers endorsed and the following were granted their A licences: Mr. J. R. Franklin (Wanga. nui), Miss Eva Parkinson (Waitctara), Messrs. F. Holder (Marton), D. M. Lethbridge (Turakina) and Maurice King (Wanganui). Mr. King is aged 1G years and is the youngest of those examined. There are a number of oilier pupils in Wanganui who are about to qualify for their A certificates but have not yet completed lie time.
Mr. W. Stanton, of New Plymouth, brought Dr. Brown as a passenger in tue AAA, and, later, continued his journey to Wellington. He will return 10 iNew Plynioutn tomorrow, via Wanganui,
