The New Zealanders overwhelmed their opponents, winning with a record score of IS to nil. Turbitt's leg was injured, requiring several stitches. The Albury players defended fairly well but their forwards lacked cohesion. The New Zealanders had two days sightseeing, including a visit to the immense Hume storage dam. They were given a civic reception.
