CHAMPION FRIESIAN COW DIES

LOSS TO STRATFORD TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL The Stratford Technical High School sustained a serious loss yesterday when the pedigree Friesian cow, Coldstream Galatea Payne, given to the school by Messrs. G. A. Marchant and Sons, of Cardiff, died through calving troubles. During the three years the cow was Uie property of the school, she won live championship;*, including the North Island Friesian championship. The animal was always in the pink of condition and was the pride of the school. Her passing is a serious loss.
