CONCERT IN METHODIST HALL
! ENJOYABLE PROGRAMME BY HAWERA PARTY A very enjoyable programme was given by the Hawera Bible Class in tlie Methodist, Hall last night to a full house. The Rev. T. Skuse in a happy speech welcomed the visiters, j The following programme was rendered: Opening chorus, male choir i Bible Class hoys; pianoforte solo. 1 Miss Rix; songs, "Thom” and I ‘‘Wafichman,” Mr. Rush ton; sketch, j class h ys; club swinging,, Mf. E, i Yearbury; song, Mrs. ' Y r earbury, i community singing around the hall, j “Three Blind Mice,” led by the Rev E S. Emmett;, mouthorgan solo, K i Fox; duet, “Will You Walk,” Mrs. j Yearbury and Rev. Emmett; foil fencing, E. Yearbury and T. Pen- ! son; song. Miss Bix; sketch, “Scene j in the Tea Rooms,” bpys; gymnastic i display, club; stories, Rev. E,. S. i Emmett; sketch, “Home-made Wire--1 less,” boys. j j The leader of the Stratford class, 1 Mr. A. H. Gaze, thanked the visitors i for the very fine programme they had I put on for the benefit of class work, i after which they were entertained tP ! supper. The stage decorations were ! very artistically arranged and re, I fleeted credit on the two senior Bible i Class boys, Mnlcombe Gaze and Eddy | Pugh.
