REVIVAL OF THE SPORT THE CLUB RE-FORMED In view of the growing popularity of cycling in (he district, a meeting of members of the old committee of the Stratford Cycling Club was held on Wednesday night, when it was decided to resuscitate the club. Mr. T. Kirkwood was chairman, and nine members were present. It was decided to hold fortnightly races in view of the championship round-the-momitain race in October. The result was as follows; T. Coleman (Imiix handicap) 1; J. Belk (1 min) 2; L. Volske (Iniin), 3. C. Polls (41 min) was fourth. Time, 35min. 30 sec., for the distance of about _ 13 miles. Coleman did the fastest time. A length covered the three placed riders, the fourth man being six lengths hack. Mr. T. Kirkwood was starter, Mr j Withers handicapper, and other of licials present at the finish were h Bodle and I). McNeill.
