A message from Sydney states thai Phar Lap has been scratched there at 12.55 p.m. for the Caulfleld Cup. The owners say there is no certainty that he will start tor the Melbourne Cup. Other caulfleld Cup scratchings include Paton, IthurJal, Ca Lina, Coolac, Mira Donna.
