PETTY THIEVING

CASES AT MIDHIRST

Several cases of petty thieving have been reported from Midhirst

during the last few days. Last week a bicycle belonging to Mr. J. Spencer was removed from the railway station, a coat was taken from the alleyway at Mr. Harkuess* shop, and Mr. Harry Lutze, of Denbigh Road, missed some petrol from his lorry while in the shed. One or two Midhirst shop-keepers report that attempts have been made to enter their premises, but without success.
