NEW 'PLANES ARRIVE

NEW ZEALAND AIR FORCE HAWKER TOMTIT MACHINES Wellington, March 5.' Two Hawker Tomtits ordered by the New Zealand Air Force, have arrived, and two more are on order. The machines are to bo used for training purposes and will give clubtrained pilots i'.i the Air Force more advanced training. The new machines are biplanes with allmetal fuselage and two open cockpits, the rear of which is fitted with a hood to allow a pupil to be instructed in blind flying. The Tomtit has a speed of 124 m.p.h. at, 1000 feet. The machines are expected to go to the Masterton pageant on Saturday week,
