Entering a big West End depart. men<3 st)oire, an Australian, Oscar Garden, who previously stated Le came from Christchurch, New Zealand, traded in a motor car in part pajyment 3or a Gypsy Moth aeroplane •, in which he learned to fly with the Loudon Aero Club., Ho says ho will shortly bo flying to Australia. He is not attempting a record ,but will make the flight in leisurely stages to Canbora. Tut addition ho will carry extra petrol tanks, thus delaying the issue of an air worthiness certificate.
