TAXATION INCREASES.
SOUTH AUSTRALIAN PROPOSALS (Received 10.45 a.m.) ADELAIDE, This Day. Now taxation proposals introduced in, the Assembly by the Labour Premier, Mr. Hill, include increased income and land tax, a tax on dividends irrespective of tbo country in which they are earned, a flat tax of £2 10s. on all persons whose incomes exceed £IOO a year, and taxation of profits made by co-operative societies.
