OBITUARY
MR G. S| READE AUCKLAND, Dee. 5. The death is reported of Mr Gilford Sherman Reade, aged 84, donor of .land and money tor a naval college to be built at Holbrook, Suffolk, amounting in all to about £1,000,000. Mr Restac spent 35 years in India, where he amassed a large fortune, ana came to New Zealand 1.4 years ago.
