An unregistered plumbing eontractor is entitled to employ a registered plumber to do sanitary plumbing work, even though the employer himself is not a registered plumber. This riling was vLven by Mr Justice MacGregor to-day when dismissing an appeal by the Health Department against the decision of Mr H. W. Tate, S.M. The Magistrate had held that Sydney George, an unregistered plumber, had not committed an offenc 0 against the Act or regulations when he had employed a registered plumber to do sanitary plumbing.
