Nassau Lady, Biddy’s Comet and Antique look a likely trio to r un prominently in the Trial Plate, six furlongs. Tuku, Abbey Queen and Abbess may carry most support in the Taringa Motu Hack Handicap, six furlongs. , ' i J The leading event of the meeting, the Taumarunui Cup Handicap, has drawn a useful field of nine. Wenday, Glena Bay and Glaqstar may be th e public’s fancies on the machine. 1 Pellette, White Ringlet and Pure Tea may share favouritism in the Matapuna Hack Handicap, five furlongs. \ i Archeen has accepted for two races, but if started in the Maqunui Hack Hurdles, may be the favourite. Master Roley and Spalpiko will also have plenty of friends.
