THE LITTLE GREY WOMAN
grbppimg new serial PUBUCATSON COMMENCES MONDAY. A LONG INSTALMENT DAILY.
The Stratford Evening Post ha« made arrangements for -the publication of Mr. Ardan De Brune’s gripping new serial story “The Little Grey Woman”. This is a story of love and mystery, which is written in the splendid style of the popular author, and is calculated to hold the interest of the reader from first to last. “The Ti - tle Grey Woman” i's at present runniim in the columns of the “Daily Guardian”, one of the loading daily papers in Sydney. The following glowing tribute paid the author by the Editor of a leading Queensland publication speaks for itself: —
“I should like to offer my congratulations on “The Little Grey Woman” just beginning in the “Daily Guardian.” I read' the first instalment greedily. ] thought as I read that instalment that if future chapters maintained that stamp here was the host newspaper serial I have read in years. By chance I picked up Saturday’s ‘Guardian’, and although I dislike reading isolated bits of a serial story, I read that portion with even keener interest. Aon seem to have the knack of intriguing the imagination without straining the probabilities. More than that, yon seem to have avoided the faults of so many writers of mystery stories. I presume there are many people, like myself who are by no means faddists for style, but who are extremely irritated by slip-shod English and what may be called jazzconstruction.” “The Little 'Grey Woman”' will commence in these columns on Monday next, and long instalments will ho published leach day-,
