ALLEGED DELAYS. COMMISSIONER ANSWERS COMPLAINTS. WELLINGTON, This Day. In reply to criticisms at the Farmers’ Union meeting on the delay in handling applications by the Rural Intermediate Credit Board, the Commissioner states that the majority of the applications were fio:.i the district whence the complaint eman--1 ated, .were granted, within three '/days. Others presented fejatures requiring further information. There is a serious responsibility on the Board and the Commissioner claims that in effect it was (only taking 1 ordinary business precautions.
