An Infant’s Death. A three-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cleaver, of Hunter Road, was found dead this morning, and an inquest is to bo field at Eltham to-morrow morning before Mr. W. L. Kennedy, Coroner. Hospital Additions. The additions to the nurses’ homo at the Stratford Hospital, for which tenders have now been called, will provide two further rooms on the ground floor and three on the first floor. Star-Stratford Match. “What about the earthquake benefit,” asked Mr. Garcia, at last night’s meeting of the Rugby Union, when the minutes of the previous meeting were being conirmed. Masters, said that the Mayor of Stratford, who was also chairman of the Domain Hoard, had seen fit, two days before the Star-Stratford match, to deprive the people of Stratford of the privilege of donating a. shilling each, to the Earthquake Relief Fund, and therefore the benefit part of the match had to be cancelled.
