NARROW ESCAPE

BUS HITS LORRY. THREE SLIGHTLY INJURED. .WELLINGTON, Tin's Day. A railway bus proceeding to Lower Hutt shortly before 6 o'clock last night crashed into a stationary motor lorry on Thorndon Quay. The panel was torn from the left hand front of the bus. and driven for some distance down the centre of the aisle inside the bus. The latter was almost crowded. Two women and a small child received slight injuries. In view of the damage done to the bus it is remarkable that more passengers were not injured.
