Following (on the receipt of offers of assistance to Blenheim sufferers in the earthquake disaster, the Borough Council last evening requested the Tress to broadcast the fact that no real damage was done in iMarlborougli and no financial assistance was required. The Mayior said Marlborough was fortunate in being able to offer assistance instead, of receiving, it. The Council voted £SO to the West Coast relief fund and the A. and 1\ Association contributed £25.
