TEAM TO PLAY WELLINGTON SELECTED. The Taranaki team to play against Wellington has been announced by the sole selector, Mr W. A. Guy. Owing to a number of men not being available there are considerable changes in the back division, Collins (full-back) and Brown (centre three-quarter) being the only men who played in the team against Wanganui to retain their places. In the forwards Smith replaces Murphy and Baldwin replaces J. Lusk. The team is as follows: Full-hack: Collins (Stratford). Three-quarters: Watson (Clifton), Brown (Old Boys), K. Fookes (Old Boys). Five-eighths; Johnston (Okaiawa) Owen (Stratford). 1 Half: Kilby (Star). Rover: Guy (Hawjera). Front row: Smith (Stratford), Robinson (Hawera). Lock: Ike (Okaiawa). CENTRAL DIVISION JUNIORS. TO-MORROWS GAMES. To-morrow will see the opening of the third round in the Central Division junior competition. Stratford and Toko meet at Toko, and Inglewood and Cardiff at Cardiff. Chief interest will centre in the Inglewood-Cardiff match, Inglewood being tbe leaders with seven championship points, whil% Cardiff have five points. Stratfprd (three points) will, no doubt, make a strong bid in their match against Toko (six points, and second on the list).
There will be no first junior match on Victoria Park, but the third grade game Stratford v. Eltham will be played there, the kick-off being at 2.45 p.m. The following will represent Toko first juniors: Chapman, Wilmsburst, Fetch, Jones, Sangster, Burgbam, Butler, Cuff, Wilmshurst, W. Sangster, Walter (2), Old, Standring; emergencies, Griffiths, Rowe, Leonard, Lash.
The Stratford thirds to play Elthara at Stratford will be represented by the following: R. Collins, R. Harkness, H. Wellington, R. Butcher, C. Reid, I. Bamford, S. Barlow, T. Fawcett, H. See, W. Verney, M. Keegan, T. Phillips, S. Ward, R. Fawcett, D. Vincent. Emergencies: T Reader and Latham.
