FROM -TOST” SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT. MIDHiRST. Sympathy is expressed by Midhirst residents to the Dodunski family in their recent bereavement, through the tragic death of Mrs Dodunski, who was killed at the York Road crossing last week. Mrs A. Outline gave an “at home” during the week. Those present were; Mrs Rurton, Mrs Smith, Mrs W. and L. Vickers, Mrs Simons, Mrs Carroll, ’Mrs Hall, Mrs Platt, Mrs Laird, Mrs Graham, Mrs Dicivcoi.sou, Mrs Banning, Mrs Philips, Mrs Anderson, Mrs D. Blick and Miss P. Blick. Mr and Mrs Hadden Smith, who have been on a trip to Rotorua, and Napier, left for Dunedin on Tuesday.
Mrs T. O’Reilly, of Carterton, is spending a holiday with Mrs P. Breen, of Waipuku.
Mrs P. Phelan has returned to Wanganui.
Master Billy Guthrie has returned home after a holiday in New Plymouth.
Miss Ella Mall ,an ex-pupd of the Midhirst School, who was successful in gaining Matriculation, is now a pupil of N.P. Girls’ High School.
