According to the opinion of the fanners stock sold at record prices. Aged ewes brought from 2os Gd. to 295; two-tooth wethers up to 29s 3d j mixed Hex lambs 23sj 3d. Cattle; Hereford cows and calves up to £ll. Owing to a minor accident to his car on the Strathmore Saddle, the owner of the travelling pictures was unable to visit the district, and therefore the pictures wore postponed indefinitely. A very interesting latern service, entitled "The 'Good Shepherd," was given hy the Rev. Alexander in the local hall on Friday evening before a large/ attendance. The weather during the past week has been very unseasonable. Eiderdown quilts had to he hastily requisitioned and fires at night were almost a necessity. A number of local residents journeyed to Stratford last Thursday to attend the Caledonian Sports meeting. In the list of winners at these sports Mr T. During the coming week a party of voluntary workers headed by the Rev. Aker intend polluting the local church.
