Wednesday night’s "bulletin -was the first since Sunday to report a definite improvement. It Justified the hope expressed that -.seemingly the stationary period through which the patient is passing does not signify that the King is losing ground. The “stationary” reference to the local condition shows that the disease is virtually conquered. The whole problem i s now to build up the strength. This, it would se.em, is being slowly achieved. The rays were not, applied to-night. Circumstantial reports from Paris say a new serum is being forwarded from France for the use of the King. It is officially learned, however, that tliig has not been ordered- It is pointed out that the time (or the useful application of such a serum has passed. Discussion is proceeding as to a suitable winter residence for his Majesty when he is sufficiently covered. THE LATEST BULLETIN. (Received 11.4 Q a.ni.) LONDON, January 10.
