PROFIT FROM THE SHOW

STATEMENT PRESENTED. TO A. AND P. EXECUTIVE. The nett profit from the Stratford A. and P. Association's recent show amounted to £449 13s 6d, according to a statement presented to a meeting of the Executive of the Association which was held last night.

The amount received for entries totalled £251 lis 9d, gate takings £496 3 S 7d, space fees £214 2s 6d, weight guessing £37 7s 6d, donations to prize fund £I3G 6s Od. The profit from (the luncheon rooms was £lO7 and from the kiosk £73. Donations received for the erection of a new cattle pavilion totalled' £217 Os 6d.

The Association's office will he open on Christmas Eve, and will be closed from then until January IJ.. Twenty-two new members were elected, and live resignations accepted. The meeting of the general committee fixed for to-morrow afternoon has been cancelled.
