SO' Joseph Ward stated this afternoon that the urgent legislation, ■which! he proposed to ask Parliament to during the present short usession, to obviate the calling of Parliament together; regain in February, will bo to give authority for making financial arrangements, so as not to l delay the inauguration of the most important parts of the policy which he put before tlio public during the election paignAmongst other, . things that policy will ensure work for unemployed, especially during the winter months This matter is of such importance, lie said, that it ought" to bo assented to by all members of the House.
