Hall, Wlijo had previously been 111 tho leadl, - The final figures are : W. B. Taverner (U) ... 4462 R. IV. Hall (L ) 4429 G. Toad (R.) 2205 111 the Wellington North seat the final count gives Mr 0. H. Chapman (Labour) a lead of 46 over Sir John Luke (Reform). For the I'ataura- seat, Mr D. Mo Dougall was elected by 62 votes. Five votes are still to come.
