SOLDIER'S SUICIDE
WHILE MENTALLY DEPRESSED. Press Association—Copyright. CARTERTON, This Day. "Death by a self-inflicted bullet wound while mentally depiressedt" was the verdict returned by Mr J. Miller, S.M., at the inquest yester day aft'erno'on on the body of George Henry Sydenham Engall, 34, one of the original soldier settlers ; at Westmer e Settlement. The body was found yesterday morning lying unconscious near a shed and death occurred before medical aid arrived.
vPecqased had been ten years on his 'section and latterly had been under medical attention.
