PLAYERS SUMMED UP
•Intensive training is to be commenced this week for the third test, and eighteen players have been
chosen. Lindsay will undoubtedly have the full-back position, and Robilliard and Lucas should be the wingers, although the latter may be given the centffe position, i n which case Grensid e should play on the wing. Garleton has been showing great form' as a defensive player, and he may be favoured as centre. Therefore, Lucas may be the winger. In ithe live-eighths line, Johnson’s play throughout the tour gives him a claim for a certain position. The second five-eight must be chosen from Nicholls and Lilburne, and the vice-captain, from reports, seems to have reached his best form, and with ' his. experience should be the one picked upon. Dailey is the only half chosen. The forwards will probably play
as follows:—Swain, Hadley (hookers), Alley (lock). M. Brownlie and ' Finlayson (side' row); Hazlett and McWilliahm' (back ro,,|) - • Scrim ‘, shaw has not been chosen to train, so it appears that Stewart will play as rover. , : v v . >
